The picturesque and historical Stellenbosch is nestled in the centre of the Cape Winelands district. The town is surrounded by culturally unique villages and “townships”, and we are inviting tourists and social explorers to visit these vibrant communities.

The Stellenbosch Township and Village (STV) tourism initiative promote inter-cultural and heritage integration through community-based walking tours. Our tours are locally hosted by participating guides, offering visitors an informative and fun tour. Our tours also highlight the history that shaped these communities and offers insight into the development and progress that South Africans are making.

STV is a social enterprise founded by Stellenbosch Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Development Trust (SEED).The NPO focusses on local economic development, through enterprise development and training. STV is funded by the Stellenbosch Municipality.
